he International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education Scholarship - Australia

The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) is an Australian government initiative to encourage excellence in tourism and hospitality education. We offer scholarships to international students who wish to study tourism and hospitality in Australia at THE-ICE member institutions. Our member’s programs are independently assessed by an international panel to meet THE-ICE Standards of Excellence These standards have been especially developed to endorse high quality tourism and hospitality programs.

Scholarships are offered for Masters, Bachelor and Diploma level studies commencing in Semester 2, 2007. Choose from the programs listed. All information regarding eligibility and selection criteria is included on the application form which can be downloaded by clicking on the link below each program list. Winners will be judged on excellence of merit. Applications for Semester 2, close on 26 March 2007.

Masters Scholarship

• 1 Masters by coursework
• To commence Semester 2, 2007 (usually July depending on institution and program selected)
• Scholarship offers a grant of AUD $10,000 per year towards tuition fees or living costs for the normal program duration (around 1.5 years depending on the program)
• Application closing date is 26 March 2007 (Mailing address here)
